Hi, Hot Rod Hobbies is the closest track to me and I wanted to know more about this place because the site doesn't have all the details I need. It wouldn't be bad if I lived closer but its a 35 min drive from where i am just to get to Castaic.

Well here are the questions I have?

1- I have a Traxxas Rustler with the Stock Motor which is a 20turn Brush-less, A Super Rooster ESC, and a Rx-100 Receiver also a SX-1 Hpi Servo. What Class would this be able to race in? If any? ( I was thinking Rookie or Stock but im not totally Sure!)

2- How much is it to join the Series at Hot rod Hobbies?

Thanks!

EMP_RC - You would be allowed to race your truck in rookie or stock but in either case you would be required to run a stock motor which is defined as a 27 turn brushed motor or a 17.5 brushless. In rookie you could also use any of the 5 RTR (ready to run) motors that come with any of the current short course trucks available. If you raced stock you would be required to run the 27 turn brushed or 17.5 brushless.

It does not cost a thing to join the series. You are automatically included in the series with your $15 club race entry fee. No extra fee.

Hope to see you soon!

So, Now I have to go get a 17.5 Brushless or 27 turn Brush Motor to race?

EMP_RC - Yes you would need one of those motors to race in the stock class and yes you would need those motors or any short course 2wd RTR motor for the rookie class.

$15 to race the day.
